watching friends

we had tyler and emma fosburgh and emma dibble come over on a saturday afternoon in august so their parent's could go see that borne movie, which they said was really good. we had a great time playing outside, eating popsicles, and getting very, very dirty.

i found a cute kids bench for a steal at frys - but you can't see it here because the boys are enjoying their time on it. it's the perfect size for three munchkins like these.


my poor garden is being run over with grass and dirt. we really need to put gravel down. ah, another project to do!

this is probably ellie's first popsicle because i hate how sticky messy they make my kids...as you can see:


she is my dirty, dirty baby now after playing in the dirt and eating popsicles. oh, thank goodness for bathtime.


and, finally, ken enjoyed supervising the kids while doing work on the laptop. who says guys can't multi-task?
