abe's 5th birthday

birthday's are the most fun. we get to go and party all day and have so much family fun. for abe's birthday we went to the zoo and then took all of the kids to peter piper pizza. it sure was a great time.

abe is a spider in the spider web. i have a great picture of him in this exact same place from his 3rd birthday, but it doesn't seem to want to scan. he has doubled in height since that last shot though, and only gotten cuter (oops, i mean more handsome) and funnier.


riley is always content and happy to be in the stroller. as long as she can see mommy, she's just fine.

even if abe wouldn't sit on the elephant, he did want to be a turtle head. maybe he could walk through some radioactive goo and become a TMNT...and he would be mickey since he's wearing orange.

after the zoo we took our tired selves over to peter piper pizza. i don't know how these kids find the energy, but they ran around that place like there was no tomorrow.

if ellie had her way, she would ride the mini-carousel the entire time she was there. she probably sat on the thing most of the time, even if it wasn't moving.

after peter piper pizza we went home to eat some yummy chocolate cake and open presents.

abe and ellie decorated the cake all by themselves. abe wanted sprinkes, oreos, and dots...it looks like a candy wonderland! and it tasted good too. (try not to notice ellie's dirty pizza face. how that happened, i will pretend not to know. i won't let on that in the midst of having 4 kids and a long birthday party day and chasing after things, i must have forgotten to wash her face. i will never let on that such a thing would slip my mind. you will never know, as long as you just don't look at ellie's dirty face).


abe was so excited for all of his gifts, and loved every single one of them. granted, he is sure easy to please. just a few action heros and the world is a perfect place.

we are glad abe had such a happy happy birthday! we love you abe.
