Happening right now in our house.
1. Otho is making lunch for everyone because the kids asked if they could choose the food for a day. Today is Otho's day, and we are having PB&J for breakfast and lunch. Then he will make broccoli soup for dinner. Tomorrow Abe is in charge of the food for the day. I am loving this. I don't have to cook or worry about the menu. I should do this more often.
2. "Mom, it's sprinkling." I cannot get enough of mild, overcast days after living in the desert for 12 years. After lunch the kids will go outside with their umbrellas and blow bubbles.
3. The laundry is 3/4ths done and half folded.
4. We are waiting for Starcraft 2 to arrive by UPS. Ken and the kids have been waiting for this game for over a year. I think that all they will do is play Starcraft every night. Good thing I am reading a good book right now so I don't feel ignored by my family (the good book I'm reading, by the way, is East of Eden. Amazing.
5. I had to stop Ellie from blowing bubbles in the house while she was eating her lunch.
6. I am debating if I should shower and get dressed or throw on my workout clothes in anticipation of running when Ken gets home. I am leaning towards the running, but then I would have to go to the grocery store in my workout clothes. Let's hope I don't run into anyone I know. And since I know only a dozen people, my odds are good. (by the way...I have amazing new running shoes called Five Fingers and they have completely fixed my compounding feet and knee problems).
So that's what's happening now. It's a nice, quiet peaceful day. Life doesn't get much better then a relaxing day with my kids.

Ah, My. It's good to hear your voice again. Or read your words. Or... well, you know what I mean. It's good to know what's going on with you, I've missed you the last couple weeks. (And you know that I always like to have a good book recommendation, so thanks for that.) I'm glad all's going well in VA. :-)
