After School Fun

Just now, in the backyard, the kids are playing. The weather is infectiously warm. We don't have much of a backyard, but we still enjoy every little bit of it!

Cora is SO close to walking (she is 13 months now). She stands more every day. She has taken a few steps towards mom, but falls quickly. Any day now we'll have us a little walker!

You'll also notice, Cora is always eating something. She has a banana in her hand here.

My beautiful Riley. Her curly hair is getting so long.

One game the kids play is hitting a soccer ball with a light saber. Could we call this Jedi-Soccer-Ball? Without fail, someone hits the ball over the fence. As I type this, kids are going to the neighbor's house to ask for the ball back. Perhaps I should make those kind neighbors some cookies to thank them!

Otho sleeping/reading in the hammock (I took a nap in the hammock earlier this afternoon. It was heavenly).

Ellie is obsessed with those rainbow rubber bands. She is constantly making bracelets/necklaces for her friends or for herself.

Riley trying to get Cora to walk (see the carrot in Cora's hand now? If she isn't eating food, than she is eating grass or rocks).

Time to get these kids inside for homework. We have a timeline, paper, poster project, and test to study for on top off everything else. Or, maybe I'll go relax in the hammock instead.
