ellie absolutely loved seeing the animals. her favorite animals were the rhinos, monkeys in monkey village and the orangutans. the boys loved the baboons because of their pink "you know whats." and the baboons also like to eat the bugs off of their family, which the boys got a kick out of that.
ellie got a plush monkey toy with our zoo membership. she played and ate it the entire time. ellie loves stuffed animals and dolls.
otho and abe looking in at the otter. the otter was playing with a red toy that it kept bouncing off of its nose. the otter has always been one of our favorite animals at the zoo.
i tried to get a picture of ellie in front of the otters. she didn't really like sitting on the cold cement. i guess i'll get a better picture when there's someone with me, right?

our tradition is to jump off of the turtle after the zoo. but after seeing the fosburgh's cute picture on the turtle, i had to do the same.
it was a fun day at the zoo. we were all worn out and tired afterward, but we can't wait to go back again!
