i'm so lucky to get a picture of all three. i honestly didn't think any turned out, but as luck would have it... woot!
ellie is the picture of a princess in her beautiful dress.
abe and otho smarting in their new church clothes.
otho, 5 1/2
abe, 4
the easter bunny came during church, so right after church we ran out in the backyard to pick up the gobs of eggs left. they boys were too slow, caring more about eating the candy than gathering the eggs.
ellie wasn't sure what to do. first she hugged and kissed her basket. then she would walk around stepping on the eggs, and then she would help the boys with their eggs. i don't think she caught on putting eggs into her own basket.
otho's very competitive, and outran everyone on the candy.
he even had to tell abe to stop eating and pick up eggs.
another cute ellie picture.
look at all those eggs!
abe had a grand ol' time, especially when mom agreed to candy for lunch (only because she doesn't want to make anything...daddy thinks she's finally being nice!)
once ellie understood there was candy in the eggs, she plopped herself down and kept eating them. she loved gnawing on the hard-boiled eggs the most. yucky ellie.
all in all it was a wonderful easter at the johnson home. we love the candy, but what we love the most is knowing that the savior died and was resurrected for us, letting us be together as a family forever.
