train park

what a fun day we had last friday. after a quick doctor's appointment, we drove up to the train park in scottsdale. we haven't been since christmas, and the boys really wanted to go, since it's only a few miles from the doctor's office (and otho, for some freakishly smart reason, knows that. he's got major directionality skills, unlike his dad).


we rode the carousal first. abe wasn't too excited to ride at first, and pretended to be scared, but he really did love it.


otho, as you can tell, was uber excited.


and ellie was truely scared. she only rode half the time, and clung to me the rest. granted, this was her first real carousal ride, so let's give her props on trying. she did enjoy kissing the horses, though.

after the train we went over and played on the playground. ellie love slides, and enjoys climbing up them as much as sliding down them.


here she was playing peek-a-boo with mommy under the playground. thanks kids for such a fun day. i really enjoyed it, although we probably won't go back until the weather cools down, say around october-ish.
