we were sad this week when the boys played their last t-ball game with the brown bears. we have had so much fun this season watching otho and abe learn and grow in the game of t-ball. they played two games a week at 5:30, when the weather was nice and a cool breeze blew through the area. i believe we had the best team ever. the parents weren't too competitive, and everyone just seemed to enjoy the sport of the game, even if that meant four kid scrambling to get the same ball or abe sitting in the outfield most of the game. thanks to coach mike who taught my boys the spirit of sportsmanship, and helped them learn to love to play organized sports. that is what t-ball is all about.
for our last game abe played first base. most of the time the ball flew over his head and ken would have to encourage him to run after and get the ball. this was one especially fun play...and abe's wind-up is a hoot...i'm just glad i was able to capture it on video.
this is otho with his last hit of the season. otho is a natural at t-ball, and caught on very quickly. he loves making "plays" and getting "points" each game. he is very fast, and can outrun most kids his age.
