first day of school

there is something about the first day of school...fresh school supplies, unused crayons, a new backpack and unstained clothes, seeing old friends and the anticipation of a making new ones. the start of school is a clean slate, and anything and everything wonderful can happen.


otho and abe were so excited to start school this year at w. academy. we are so lucky to go to the best school around. it is challenging and pushes our boys to learn so much.


abe started kindergarten this year and had the same teacher that otho had last year.


otho began first grade, and was so excited to see his old friends. when i asked him if he wanted to go to school, he shrugged, and said he'd rather stay home and play computer games or the wii.

i love my boys and i love watching them learn and love school even more!
