send in the clowns
i hope this works*...
when i first saw this commercial, i laughed until tears streamed down my face and i couldn't breath. that lasted for about ten minutes, and i still laugh when i think about that little clown.
see, my family is terribly afraid of clowns. not me. my little sisters mostly. probably because they watched IT way too young (like i watched THE BIRDS way too young and i am just now getting over my bird phobia).
so when the family was hiding outside of the house because of a clown, i knew that would be my family hiding. and they would probably pee their pants if a clown moved like that. ken wants to send them a clown in the mail. but they might not talk to us if we did that. especially if it was robotic...yes, that is what we talk about at night, ken and i. more him. he's morbid. not me.
but at least this clown doesn't have jagged, bloody teeth. you're welcome for the visual, sarah.
*i consider myself technologically savvy (to a degree) so why did it take me 10 minutes to figure out how to upload a you tube video to my blog? is it because i have ventured into the you tube world only a few times? am i really that old? i guess so.

Oh my crap, Myra!!!
I love this commercial too! But it's for a somewhat related event.
You see, I got into work one morning and there was this creepy china doll in my case. It was staring at me the whole time. It had fallen out of a package that the sender didn't totally secure and they assumed it belonged to a family on my route who had called into the Post Office about it. I had to be careful with it... but I swear it was LOOKING at me, waiting to attack. I was so relieved to get it out of my car. So, everytime I see this commercial, this comes back to me and I love the carriers face! "It's not that... gaaaa!" Get's me everytime.
Come on you only live once, send them all creepy robotic clowns for Christmas this year!
I too am afraid of clowns because of "IT" but I also LOVED this commercial. We'd rather watch commercials than TV shows in our house.
Ha! Okay, seriously, My, that commercial slays me! (And for the record, I think sending them a clown is hilarious. Of course, these aren't my sisters disowning me, so that's an easy call for me to make.)
