books

i keep reading books i don't think i can/should recommend on this blog. not that i'm trying to read smut...it just comes out of these books that are popular. what i need is a good clean book to read.

any recommendations?

no non-fiction, because that's the only thing i have been reading of worth these days.

person who recommends a book that i read first wins a prize. so give me a really good book that i can't put down (and haven't read in awhile) and you might get something fun/delicious/exciting from me!

note: i still owe a prize to missy j for guessing my simpsony title back in january. haven't forgotten, missy, just keep putting it in the back of my brain so the idea gets misplaced. i have some amazing goopy chocolate cupcakes that i will make you. maybe this week even. HOPEFULLY this week.

I just read Hush, Hush and hated it. But you might like it, it is suspenseful and reminded me a little of Twilight. I was on the edge of my seat and had to finish it, it just felt like a little like a horror film. I would love to talk to you about it if you end up reading it. I think it makes a great discussion.

Al Capone Does My Laundry, and The View From Saturday were super easy reads not riveting but light and easy and fun

Let me know if you read any of them. I am also looking for some good ones too.

Happy Reading, Jen Mix!
