Easter

There's nothing better than Easter over Conference Weekend. I love how we learn so much about the Savior through the words of our Prophet and Apostles. I also love the weather over Easter. It's always fresh and new and rejuvenating. And Ken's birthday is always that weekend, which makes everything more fun. And, then there is also the cuteness of my kids who look for Easter eggs. Oh, what a glorious time of year.

Here's a couple pictures of my cute kids looking for Easter eggs:

OTHO

Otho was a super fast egg finder and found tons of eggs although he was limited to the hardest places, like up high in a tree.

ABE

Abe in front of the stable. "Look mom, the chickens are laying plastic candy eggs."

ELLIE

Ellie always looks like a princess. She doesn't need a silky Easter dress to do the trick, but it sure helps.

RILEY

The funnest part of hunting for Easter eggs is watching the youngest child discover what the process is all about. Riley didn't know what to do at first, but she was coached by her grandpa to find the eggs and put them in her basket.

She didn't care about the eggs, at first, but then she discovered that candy was inside! And boy, how, does Riley love her candy. She stopped looking and stuffed her face full of candy, as any 1-year-old does on Easter morning.

Ri soon got into the swing of things, and was happy as can be...that is until she got sick of her mom taking pictures of her. This picture says it all, "Mom, get that mangy camera out of my face." I have a feeling I will be seeing this picture a lot in 10 years.
